Junior Running Program

Our Junior Development Squad is an introductory running program for junior runners aged 6-10yo.

It's designed to be a fun and welcoming environment for those kids just starting out, with a focus on learning the basics of running, combined with improving speed and endurance which they can apply to other sports. We also prepare our older juniors for school athletics and cross country races

The program is run on a school term basis, with the idea to progress our runners to the main squad once they've mastered the basics.

School Term Dates for 2019:

Term 1    February 5th - April 8th (10 Weeks)
Term 2    April 29th - July 1st (10 Weeks)
Term 3    July 22nd - September 23rd (10 Weeks)
Term 4    October 14th - December 2nd (8 Weeks)                                       



Times:       Wednesday afternoons from 4:45pm - 5:30pm

                   Friday afternoons from 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Where:      Sylvania Athletics Track, Sylvania Waters

Bring:        Drink bottle and a hat
